Hittites in Caria

The Hittite Empire which extended towards the Western Coast of Turkey left some inscription and carvings at BafaLake area. One of the inscriptions discover at Latmos Mountain mentions the Mira Land under the Hittite rule and has the cartuse of Hittite Prince Kupanta  Kuruntiya.The border stone giving the name of the Hittite Prince and the names of other Hittite princes a great proof of the Hittite existence in Caria region.
