Dorians

After the collapse of Hittite Empire, Anatolia witnessed the arrival of many tribes and people to western coast of Turkey. Aeolians settled in the north of Izmir. Ionians settled in the south of Izmir. As to warlike Dorians they settled in the ancient Caria region where they encountered the Carians. After the invasion of the coastline, Carians moved towards the mountains. But later, Carians and Dorions became friendly and got mixed.
